What this subtitle tool can solve
Move every timestamp when the subtitles are consistently ahead of or behind the video.
Correct a gradual timing drift caused by different frame rates, such as 23.976 FPS subtitles used with a 25 FPS video.
Convert SRT files to WebVTT and back, and find overlaps, out-of-order timings, blank subtitles, or zero-length cues.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to upload my video file?
No. Only a subtitle file is needed. This tool does not listen to video audio or automatically align speech.
What's the difference between SRT and VTT?
SRT uses numbered blocks and commas for milliseconds. WebVTT uses a WEBVTT header and periods in timestamps. This converter preserves subtitle text and timing.
Does this website store my subtitles?
No. Processing happens on your device, inside the current browser session. No subtitle text is sent to our servers.
What if subtitles are still out of sync?
A constant difference can be fixed with the offset. If a video was edited differently in separate sections, you may need a full timeline editor. This tool intentionally focuses on bulk adjustments.
Subtitle content is never uploaded to our server. Everything runs inside this browser and is cleared when you leave the page. Keep an original backup of important files.
Results are provided as a convenience. Back up important subtitles and verify their timing against the actual video.
